14.12.2018 The first season of the "Journalistic Battles" TV project took place.

On December 14, 2018, the Award Ceremony of the reality show “Journalistic Battles” took place within the framework of the project “Access to information and investigative journalism for better-informed citizens”, which is co-funded by the European Union, implemented by “Freedom of Information Center of Armenia” NGO (FOICA) in cooperation with the Maastricht-based European Journalism Centre.

RSF is concerned about a series of legislative initiatives reducing journalists’ access to information in the public interest, the latest of which keep reporters away from the places where the authorities take decisions.

“By decision of the RA National Assembly Speaker the draft law “On the Structure and Activities of the Government”, which has not undergone thorough public discussion and has been harshly criticized by the media and non-governmental organizations, was placed on the agenda of the extraordinary session to be convened following the end of the February 27, 2018 regular sessions.

30.01.2018 State Bodies Have Spent Almost 156 Million AMD or 322 Thousand Dollars While Making New Year Preparations

The most interesting answer is that of RA Government staff. The body mentions in the answer that 682,100 was spent on New Year postcards, but it did not provide any information about New Year reception expenses, since they are included in the procurement plan containing secret and cannot be publicized.
